Alongside the handmade Christmas cards, I was asked to design, handmake and embellish 150 wedding invites for another client, getting married in September. No mean feat, as the commission also includes Order of Services, 100 place and table names, a table plan and menus. I've thrown myself in at the deep end, from liaising with a wonderful printer to trying to learn the finer elements of 'Photoshop'...... and having just embellished the last invite....I can honestly say, that I'm delighted with the result.
A LOT of work, but most definitely worth it. So much so, that I've just sent some samples to a local Wedding Fair (image attached-although gallingly, the images scan appallingly) being held this Sunday (11th April 2010).......we'll see what that may bring.......
